On August 4, 2024, the 30th International Conference on Computational&Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES 2024) was grandly opened at the Marina Bay Sands Expo&Convention Centre in Singapore.

This is the second time that our faculty has deeply participated in ICCES, following the successful hosting of ICCES by Shenzhen University in 2023. Professor Li Shaofan from the University of California, Berkeley announced the opening of the conference, and the conference chairman, Professor Zhou Kun from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, delivered a welcome speech. More than 1000 renowned scholars, including Academician Gao Huajian, attended the conference. At the invitation of Professor Zhou Kun, Academician Chen Xiangsheng, the President of our institute, presided over the keynote speech of the first conference.

Professors Zhu Jiasong, Hu Mingwei, and Assistant Professor Cheng Jing attended the meeting and had lively discussions with the attending representatives. Professor Hu Mingwei served as the chairman of the Smart Transportation and Logistics sub forum.
