The team leader, Chen Xiangsheng, is a renowned expert in the fields of artificial permafrost mechanics, tunneling and underground engineering, special geotechnical engineering, well construction engineering, etc. He has long been engaged in scientific and technological research and development as well as teaching and management in the fields of tunneling and underground engineering, urban rail transit engineering and mine well construction engineering.
