On September 16, 2024, the team of Professor John P.A. Ioannidis from Stanford University in the United States released the 7th edition of the Global Top 2% Scientists List, selecting the world's top 2% scientists in various fields from over 7 million scientists, covering 22 fields and 174 sub disciplines. This list is divided into two categories: the "Lifetime Science Influence Ranking" (1960-2023) and the "2023 Science Influence Ranking".

82 scholars from Shenzhen University have been selected for the 'Lifetime Science Influence Ranking'. Compared to last year's "Lifetime Scientific Influence Ranking", Shenzhen University has increased the number of selected scholars by 13. 241 scholars from Shenzhen University have been selected for the "2023 Science Influence Ranking". Compared to last year's "2022 Science Influence Ranking", Shenzhen University has added 34 selected scholars.

32 scholars from our university have been selected for the "2023 Science Influence Ranking", leading the way in the number of selected students among all colleges in the school.
