On March 30th, the inaugural meeting of the Rail Transit Professional Committee of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, hosted by the Rail Transit Professional Committee of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association and jointly organized by Guangzhou Metro Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. and four other units, as well as the "Standard Leading Green Intelligent Integration" - Urban Rail Transit Innovation and Development Technology Exchange Conference, was held in Guangzhou.

At the meeting, the Rail Transit Professional Committee of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association was officially established. Academician Chen Xiangsheng was elected as the first chairman, Associate Researcher Xia Changqing was elected as the vice chairman, and Professor Lv Haimin was elected as a member.

At the "Standard Leading Green Intelligence Integration" technology exchange conference held at the same time, Academician Chen Xiangsheng gave a conference report on "Reflections on the Development Status and Sustainable Development of Urban Rail Transit in Mainland China".
