The team of Academician Chen Xiangsheng from the Future Underground City Research Institute of Shenzhen University is now recruiting 2 postdoctoral fellows both domestically and internationally. The specific requirements are as follows:
1、 Introduction to the Institute
The Future Underground City Research Institute (UPA) of Shenzhen University, led by Professor Chen Xiangsheng, an academician of the CAE Member, was established in 2018 by relying on the School of Civil and Traffic Engineering of Shenzhen University. The research institute adheres to the purpose of making original contributions to the construction of human ecological civilization, and is committed to the goal of protecting and building a beautiful ecological environment. It is based on exploring efficient ways of urban underground space development and land resource utilization. The Institute focuses on solving major scientific problems and technical problems in major national infrastructure construction, deeply integrates advanced technologies such as Internet plus, big data mining and advanced sensing elements with traditional geotechnical mechanics and underground structure engineering, creates modern engineering for resilient urban construction, innovates the theory and method of urban comprehensive multi compliance planning, and develops the technology of "intelligent civil engineering". Since its establishment, it has undertaken more than 200 national, provincial and ministerial projects/topics and major horizontal scientific research topics, including major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key research and development plans of the Ministry of Science and Technology and key fields of Guangdong Province, and has participated in consulting work on national key construction projects such as the Sichuan Tibet Railway, Shenzhen China Railway. In the past 3 years, we have won 2 provincial and ministerial level special awards for scientific and technological progress, 4 first prizes, and 3 international awards.
2、 Introduction to Research Direction and Collaborative Mentors

Collaborative supervisor: Chen Xiangsheng, professor, researcher, doctoral supervisor. Experts in tunnel and underground
engineering, urban rail transit engineering, special geotechnical engineering, and well construction engineering. CAE Member,
foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering; Distinguished Professor at Shenzhen University, Dean of the School
of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University, and Dean of the Future Underground City Research Institute at
Shenzhen University; Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Mine Deep Well Construction Technology,
Executive Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory for Intelligent Construction and Maintenance of Geotechnical and
Tunnel Engineering in Extreme Environments, and Director of the Key Laboratory of Coastal Urban Resilient Infrastructure of
the Ministry of Education; Simultaneously serving as the Director of the Technical Committee of Shenzhen Metro Group Co.,
Ltd. and the Dean of the Well Building Research Institute of the Coal Science Research Institute. In January 1982, he obtained
a Bachelor's degree in Mine Construction Engineering from Huainan Mining Institute. In January 2000, he obtained a Doctoral
degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Tsinghua University (on-the-job, national excellent doctoral thesis). He visited and
studied at Technische Universit ä t Berlin (special tunnel engineering), Ruhr Universit ä t Bochum (deep frozen soil mechanics,
supergravity simulation experimental technology), and the University of Cambridge (polar engineering, supergravity simulation
experimental technology). He has served as the director and deputy chief engineer of the Beijing Jianjing Research Institute of
the Coal Science Research Institute, as well as the chief engineer (deputy general manager) of Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd.
Has won 1 National Science and Technology Progress Special Prize and 2 Second Prizes, 2 Provincial and Ministerial Science and
Technology Progress Awards and 9 First Prizes, Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award - Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical
Engineering Award, and Zhan Tianyou Engineering Award; Published 9 monographs.
3、 Application requirements
(1) Individuals under the age of 35 who have obtained a doctoral degree for no more than 3 years, as well as applicants, are
not eligible to apply for postdoctoral research positions in the same first level discipline as their doctoral graduation institution.
(2) Has strong research and innovation abilities and team collaboration spirit.
(3) Having good academic ethics and rigorous scientific attitude, capable of meeting the job requirements of the position.
(4) Applicants who have achieved significant scientific research results will be given priority consideration.
(5) Strong English reading and writing skills.
(6) Having a professional background in structural dynamics, rail transit system dynamics, vibration and noise control,
human habitation acoustic environment impact, damage identification, or intelligent infrastructure operation and maintenance.
4、 Term of employment benefits
The contract period for postdoctoral fellows in schools is 2 or 3 years; A comprehensive annual salary of over 330000 yuan.

1. The province and city will provide a living allowance of 180000 yuan per person per year to eligible postdoctoral fellows, with a total amount not exceeding 360000 yuan.
2. The school provides a comprehensive annual salary of over 150000 yuan; Outstanding postdoctoral fellows who meet the requirements can apply for the "Lixin Award Program", and the school will provide an additional incentive salary of 48000 yuan.
3. The team provides research subsidies based on research workload and achievements.
4. Outstanding postdoctoral fellows who meet the requirements can directly apply for teaching positions through the "Liyuan Liujing Plan".
5.During their tenure at the station, postdoctoral fellows can independently apply for research projects at all levels as responsible persons.

9.If there are any adjustments to the postdoctoral funding policy, the latest document regulations shall prevail.
5. 岗位职责
(1) Complete the research project assigned by the collaborating supervisor and independently conduct scientific research on the corresponding topic.
(2) Publish high-level scientific research papers.
During the station, the first author should publish 4 core journal articles, or 2 JCR2 articles, or 1 JCR1 article. For assessment requirements and specific management requirements, please refer to relevant regulations such as the "Shenzhen Postdoctoral Management Work Regulations" and the "Shenzhen University Postdoctoral Management Regulations".
