According to Shenzhen University's Notice on Launching the Work of Pre-admission Plan for Recruiting Outstanding Students for PhD Candidates of Class 2026, the College has formed a disciplinary expert group to carefully review the materials of the applicants who have passed the qualification examination, and carry out the preliminary evaluation and screening of the scientific research and innovation ability of the applicants, and determine the list of applicants who will enter into the examination stage of the reexamination in conjunction with the intention of the enrollment supervisors.

2. You must arrive at the designated place before 14:20 to complete the check-in procedure and copy the PPT of the review to the computer in the meeting room.

(III) Content and Format of Review Examination

1. Self-representation (10 minutes)

PPT should be prepared in advance, and the content should cover: personal profile, academic performance, research, scientific research achievements, and research plan during the proposed doctoral degree.

Language requirements: the part of personal profile should be presented in English (about 2-3 minutes), and the rest of the content can be in Chinese.

2. Questions from experts

The examination includes: foreign language proficiency, professionalism, research potential, comprehensive ability, focusing on the applicant's scientific research and innovation ability and whether he/she has the potential and quality for doctoral training in this discipline, as well as examining the applicant's comprehensive ability of analyzing, problem solving and innovation.
