To further encourage students to actively participate in international exchange, in June 2022 the university established the "Academic Launch" Scholarship on the basis of the former "Short-term Exchange Scholarship," to support students going abroad to participate in high-level academic conferences and conduct scientific research cooperation. For details, see the Measures of Shenzhen University for the Administration of Student Overseas Exchange and Study Scholarships (Revised) (No. [2022]172). In accordance with these measures, the application for this year's "Academic Launch" Scholarship is now commenced.

Funding standards:

RMB 8,000 per person outside the Asian region; RMB 4,000 per person within the Asian region (including the Taiwan region); RMB 2,000 per person within Hong Kong and Macao.

Students who attend online conferences and meet the requirements may be funded for the registration (enrollment) fee. (Due to the pandemic, if participating in an online conference, the registration (enrollment) fee will be funded.
