On 12 February 2026, our institute received a letter of appreciation from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Housing and Construction, expressing high recognition and gratitude for the substantial support provided by our institute during the 2025 "Science Popularisation in Schools" initiative.

20–21 June 2025 Hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau Co-organised by the Shenzhen Construction Industrialisation Association, our institute, and the Shenzhen Construction Technology Promotion Centre Co-sponsored by the Shenzhen University Future Underground City Research Institute, Shenzhen University China-Australia Joint Research Centre for BIM and Smart Construction, National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Construction and Maintenance of Geotechnical and Tunnel Engineering in Extreme Environments, National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Construction and Healthy Operation and Maintenance of Deep Underground Engineering, National Key Laboratory of Green and Long-Life Road Engineering in Extreme Environments, Smart Civil Engineering Science Education Base, and Shenzhen University Digital and Intelligent Civil Engineering Science Education Base. The event attracted numerous teachers, students, parents, and members of the public to visit and experience the exhibits, with a lively atmosphere prevailing throughout the venue.

Our institute will continue to strengthen talent cultivation and scientific research innovation in the fields of intelligent construction and new forms of building industrialisation. We shall contribute to fostering new productive forces, advancing high-quality development in the construction sector, serving the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and supporting the university's "Double First-Class" initiative.
