On January 28, 2026, the General Office of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province issued a commendation notice recognizing outstanding collectives and individuals for their contributions to advancing the mutual promotion and dual enhancement of industry and technology. Our university has dedicated itself to pioneering scientific innovation and breakthroughs in core technologies. Multiple scientific achievements have filled domestic technological gaps while serving the national strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development and major national infrastructure projects. We have consistently been at the forefront of tackling critical, challenging, and high-risk national projects, establishing the Shenzhen University model of mutual promotion between industry and technology. This work has earned commendation from the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government.

Our institution shall redouble its efforts, further exemplify its leading role, and achieve new successes in this new endeavour.
