Warm congratulations to Professor Tamon Ueda, distinguished professor of Shenzhen University, academician of the Japanese Academy of Engineering, on his election as president of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE)!

On June 11, the ceremony of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers was held in Tokyo, Japan. Professor Ueda will officially assume the position of JSCE President on June 10, 2022.
