On September 11, 2021, the final of the first National Competition for College Students in Industrialized Building and Intelligent Construction (NCCS-IBIC) was concluded in Nanjing. The competition finally produced 15 first prize, 39 second prize and 86 third prize. Under the careful guidance of Zhenyu Huang, Lingyi Wu, Lili Sui, Zhikun Ding, Zhengdao Li, Jiayuan Wang and other teachers, Three teams of our undergraduates stood out from more than 500 teams from all over the country and finally won two first prizes （synthesize and Intelligent construction and operation and maintenance management ）and one second prize ( synthesize ). The proportion of the first prizes in our school ranks first in China with Southeast University and Xi 'an University of Architecture and Technology. Because of the outstanding achievement, our school won the excellent organization award !
" National Competition for College Students in Industrialized Building and Intelligent Construction (NCCS-IBIC)" is proposed under the background of "new engineering" construction and combined with the national major development strategy. With the goal of "informatization, industrialization, green and intelligence", the competition covers multiple disciplines including architecture, structure, HVAC, water supply and drainage, electrical, management, automation, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and so on. This competition is conducive to promoting young students to boldly try and actively innovate in industrial architecture and intelligent construction, and improving their teamwork and engineering practice ability. It is more conducive to further deepen the reform of practical education and teaching in colleges and universities, promote the research and exchange of architectural industrialization and intelligent construction in China, promote talent training in related fields such as architectural industrialization and intelligent construction, build a new form of government-industry-university-research cooperation platform, and cultivate multidisciplinary collaborative innovation talents.
The college of Civil and Transportation Engineering has always attached great importance to the cultivation of students' innovation ability and encouraged teachers and students to participate in high-level discipline competitions. Under the careful organization of the school leaders and the guidance of teachers from the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Construction Management and Real Estate, three teams sent by our school finally won two first prizes, one second prize and excellent Organization award. This competition fully demonstrates the spirit of our college students to bear hardships and stand hard work, dare to think and create, overcome difficulties, and have confidence. At the same time, it is the comprehensive embodiment of the achievements accumulated and applied by the educational Affairs Department for many years in teaching together, innovative short courses and funding and implementation of teaching reform research projects. It also shows our teaching philosophy of scientific research innovation and teaching integration, new engineering talent cultivation and scientific research assisted teaching for many years.
