On July 9th and 11th, under the organization of the Admissions Office of Shenzhen University and our school, more than 100 teachers and students from the high school department of Shenzhen Xin'an Middle School (Group) and more than 80 teachers and students from the first level star picking class of Zhaoqing No.1 Middle School in Guangdong Province came to our school for visits and exchanges. The activities are rich and colorful, including campus lectures, lectures by renowned teachers, interactive sharing with outstanding students, laboratory visits and experiences, interviews with career figures, and a series of other rich activities. The two high schools are Guangdong Province National Demonstration High School, Guangdong Province First Class School, Guangdong Province Moral Education Demonstration School, Guangdong Province Primary and Secondary School Mental Health Education Characteristic School, Guangdong Province High School Teaching Level Evaluation Excellent School, Guangdong Province Moral Education Demonstration School and Zhaoqing Key High School, as well as Shenzhen City General High School New Curriculum and New Textbook Implementation National Demonstration Zone Demonstration School (one of the 10 schools in the city). The comprehensive educational strength ranks among the top in the city, and the students have high comprehensive quality, making it an important excellent source of students for our school.

On the morning of July 9th and 11th, Vice Dean Yang Lei, Dean's Assistant Mei Liu, and Deputy Department Head Xiong Chen welcomed all teachers and students from the high school department of Shenzhen Xin'an Middle School and the first level star picking class of Zhaoqing First Middle School at the entrance of the college, and took a group photo as a souvenir. In the A431 lecture hall of Zhigong Building, Vice Dean Yang Lei warmly welcomed the teachers and students who had come from afar with a speech full of enthusiasm. Assistant Dean Mei Liu gave a multidimensional introduction to Shenzhen University from multiple aspects, including the development speed and quality, disciplinary majors, training characteristics, employment prospects, campus life, and previous admission situations. She encouraged students to dare to innovate, be brave in different ways, take dreams as horses, and create the future in this era of rapid technological development. Subsequently, Vice Department Head Xiong Chen gave a vivid science popularization lecture on "Earthquake and Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Education", using real earthquake cases and shaking table experimental videos to explain in detail the causes, impacts, and earthquake prevention and disaster reduction measures of earthquakes, bringing students a lively science popularization lecture.

Next, the teachers and students were divided into two groups, led by Professor Mei Liu and Professor Xiong Chen respectively to visit the structural engineering laboratory and BIM intelligent construction laboratory of the college. The laboratory administrator, Mr. Lu Yongming, introduced the various experimental equipment in the laboratory to the students and explained their uses with easy to understand examples. The students then watched experimental demonstrations of structural engineering, including simulated earthquake experiments and DIC experiments. Then, laboratory administrators Li Yi and Zhang Jiaqing respectively led the teachers and students to visit the scanning electron microscope laboratory and XCT laboratory. Teachers Liao Longhui, Tan Yi, and Wu Huanyu led everyone to visit the BIM intelligent construction laboratory, experiencing robotic arm operation, 3D scanner demonstration, unmanned aerial vehicles and mechanical dogs, Ackermann inspection robot display, and more. During the activity, students showed a strong interest in visiting and experiencing the laboratory. This event not only gave them a deeper understanding and knowledge of our college, but also broadened their horizons and inspired their aspirations for future university life.

Finally, the teachers and students returned to the A431 lecture hall of Zhigong Building and conducted interviews with career figures. In this session, students raised many questions to the representatives of teachers and students at Shenzhen University. Representatives of teachers and students provided detailed and sincere answers on issues such as university life, major choices, and future development.
