Successful conclusion of the 2025 Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Metro Industry Conference co-organized by our institute

On June 14-15, 2025, the “2025 Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Metro Industry Conference”, co-sponsored by Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Urban Rail Transit Association and Shenzhen Civil Engineering and Construction Society, and co-organized by the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering of Shenzhen University and the Future Underground City Research Institute of Shenzhen University, was successfully held in Shenzhen. Successfully organized.

With the theme of “Synergy-Innovation-Win-Win, New Vision-New Height”, the conference attracted more than 400 experts, scholars and representatives of industry elites from all over the country, and the online live broadcasting attracted more than 35,000 people to watch.

Xiangsheng Chen, President of the Academy and the Future Underground City Institute, served as the chairman of the conference and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Su Dong, vice president of the research institute, acted as the moderator of the sub-forum on subway construction and delivered a report entitled “Digital Twin Technology and Engineering Practicein Urban UndergroundSpace”.

The main forum of this conference invites 24 experts and scholars to share around 3 core topics, namely, green construction and sustainable development of metro, innovative mode of intelligent operation and management, and synergistic development strategy of rail transit and cities. The experts provide innovative ideas and solutions for promoting the high-quality development of rail transit industry by combining theoretical discussions with practical cases.

The Sub-forum on Metro Construction invites 11 experts and scholars to share their latest research results in metro design and construction, while the Sub-forum on Metro Electromechanical Equipment and Operation invites 9 experts and scholars to share their latest research results in metro electromechanical equipment and operation management.
