Activities involving Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan hosted or organized at Shenzhen University must be submitted to the university for approval more than two months before the activity. (Among these, applications for international conferences must be submitted to the university for approval more than six months before the conference; for details, please see the official notice "Instructions for Units Hosting or Organizing Large International Conferences" at https://www1.szu.edu.cn/board/view.asp?id=387377. The application information for hosting or organizing activities involving Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is as follows (classified by region):
Activities Involving Hong Kong and Macao
I. Objects of application for activities involving Hong Kong and Macao:
1. Conferences hosted or organized under the theme of the "Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area" require application to the relevant departments;
2. International conferences hosted or organized with participants from Hong Kong and Macao require application to the relevant departments;
3. Large activities hosted or organized with participants from Hong Kong and Macao require application to the relevant departments.
II. Application materials
The relevant application procedures refer to the official notice "Instructions for Units Hosting or Organizing Large International Conferences." This instruction addresses the materials required for activities involving Hong Kong and Macao. The list of required materials is as follows:
1. Request for instructions to be submitted to the Shenzhen Municipal Government for approval (content includes: the conference's host/organizer, time, venue, theme and introduction, significance and impact, number of participants, number of overseas participants, number of participants from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and budget and its sources).
2. Conference agenda (Appendix 1)
3. Conference introduction
4. Introduction of the hosting and organizing parties
5. List of overseas participating scholars (Appendix 2)
6. Personal resumes and detailed itineraries in Shenzhen of scholars from Hong Kong and Macao (Appendix 3)
While submitting via OA, please also send the above materials to Teacher LEI's email for timely verification: lsy@szu.edu.cn.
III. Application results
After the application for activities involving Hong Kong and Macao is completed, our office will notify the applicant of the result as soon as possible; if it is an international conference, the relevant approval documents will be handed to Teacher ZHANG, who is responsible for international conference applications.
Activities Involving Taiwan
I. Objects of application for activities involving Taiwan
All large activities involving the Taiwan region require application to the relevant departments; you may also call Teacher LEI at 26536107 to consult related matters.
II. Application materials
