Good news: Several scholars from our institute have been selected for the Elsevier 2025 "China Highly Cited Researchers" list (pre-release).

On 30 January 2026, Elsevier released its 2025 list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers. This year, 6,310 scholars from 543 universities, enterprises and research institutions across China were selected, covering 10 disciplinary fields and 83 primary disciplines recognised by the Ministry of Education.

This year, eight scholars from our institute have been included in the list, comprising six from the discipline of Civil Engineering, one from Management Science and Engineering, and one from Architecture. The specific list is as follows:

(1) The original list presented no hierarchical order. This table first sorts entries by the initial pinyin letter of their discipline name, with scholars within the same discipline further arranged by the initial pinyin letter of their surname.

(2) Institution verification: The current affiliation listed in the scholar's Scopus profile serves as the baseline. This is supplemented by confirmed adjustments to institutional records, based on proactive feedback and applications from scholars or relevant institutions. This process ultimately confirms the current institutions of highly cited scholars featured in the list.

① This is a bibliometric statistical analysis conducted by a database company based on database literature information. It serves as a method for measuring and comparing the impact of scholars' research achievements and is provided for reference only.

② This ranking constitutes a preliminary release; the official version will be published in May. Elsevier will collect discrepancies regarding ranking information between 30 January and 1 March 2026. For queries concerning listed scholars' details (including names, current affiliations, and disciplinary classifications), please complete the information collection form and submit it to the Highly Cited Researchers Project Working Group (service@shanghairanking.com) for rectification.

Inclusion on Elsevier's Highly Cited Researchers list signifies that the scholar's papers—published as first or corresponding author—achieve citation counts ranking among the highest nationally within their discipline. This reflects substantial global influence and significant contributions to the field's advancement. The list represents bibliometric statistics derived from database literature information by the database company, serving as a comparative measure of scholarly impact for reference purposes only.
