Introduction | Training Objectives: Oriented to the demands for the development of the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area, this major is committed to cultivating interdisciplinary professionals in construction management. Graduates shall master classical and cutting‑edge theoretical foundations of construction management, possess interdisciplinary knowledge of civil engineering, economics, management, law and engineering informativeness as well as innovative practical capabilities. The graduates should be qualified for scientific research, technical management and other work related to project management, cost management, consulting and intelligent construction, with innovative awareness and an international vision. Training Features: As a National First‑class Undergraduate Major and a Key Major of Guangdong Province, this major offers a complete talent‑training pathway covering bachelor, master and doctoral programs. It establishes a five‑platform curriculum system consisting of engineering technology, economics, management, law and engineering informativeness. A training model integrating theoretical instruction, BIM training, research practice and engineering practice is adopted. Regular academic exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong are leveraged to broaden students’ international horizons. Multiple teaching approaches combining classroom lectures, on‑campus training and engineering practice are applied to comprehensively improve students’ engineering practical competence and comprehensive management literacy. Major Highlights: Supported by the National First‑class Undergraduate Major Construction Platform, this major gives full play to Shenzhen’s geographical advantages and carries out ongoing exchange and cooperation programs with universities in Hong Kong. It is well‑equipped with laboratories and ample university‑enterprise internship bases. Its interdisciplinary curriculum system emphasizes close integration of theoretical learning with industrial practice. It provides a full progression pathway from bachelor’s to doctoral studies, and aligns with job requirements across the whole construction industrial chain.
