报告人简介：

邹小伟，博士，长安大学长安学者特聘教授、博士生导师、博士后合作导师；复杂工程管理系统研究团队带头人；中华建设管理研究会（CRIOCM）会长（2023—2025）。

邹小伟教授一直聚焦于复杂工程安全风险和节能管理的研究，主持纵横向科研项目多项，发表了系列论文，形成了系列理论，出版了多本专著，获得了多个优秀研究、教学和服务奖项，连续多年入选美国斯坦福大学“全球前2%顶尖科学家排行榜”和“终身科学影响力排行榜”榜单。多次受邀组织、主持国际研讨会、担任国际研讨会学术委员会主席或作主题发言。

Dr. Patrick X.W. Zou is Chang'an Scholar Distinguished Professor at Chang'an University. He is also the President of the Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management (CRIOCM). He obtained his PhD from UNSW. His research focuses on the key problems and challenges faced by the construction industry, including safety, risk and energy saving management of major infrastructure engineering projects, with competitive research funding obtained from national, ministerial, provincial and industrial organizations. He has developed a series of new theories and published many journals articles and conferences papers and several books, including Research Methodology and Strategy: Theory and Practice, Strategic Safety Management, Construction Management New Directions and Infrastructure Project Risk Management. He has been featured among the "Top 2% Global Scientists" byStanfordUniversity in the recent four consecutive years. He has been teaching more than 10 different subjects at doctorial, master and bachelor levels. He has won several awards for excellence in research, teaching and services. He has successful records in research collaboration with academic peers and industries experts.

In this presentation, Professor Zou will discuss research on building energy saving from different perspectives, including policy, materials, management and technology as well as occupants' energy -saving behavior. In addition he may also discuss mixed methods research design that is required for undertaking research in building energy management.
